Today we had the official opening of Roverway.
We started packing at about 6am this morning (8am your time) and we moved to the University grounds where the cermony was held. We were asked to form a human arrow... (don't ask me why !!). There were various speeches by the Camp Chief, Chief Scout of Iceland, Secretary General of WOSM and also the Prime Minister if Iceland.
After the opening, we all moved on to begin our journeys - and my group have the Search and Rescue Journey. The International Service Team staff moved down to the main campsite and from a phone call we had from Charmaine it seems that the site is amazing but full of mosquitos... lol
I'll keep you informed as our adventure progresses.
